I love making my own spicy tequila for my Margaritas at home! My favorite recipe uses Kirkland's Silver Tequila from Costco. I then use an airtight glass canister and pour half the bottle of tequila in with a cut up jalapeno pepper, serrano pepper and habanero pepper. I let this infuse in the refrigerator for about 5 days before I strain the peppers out and add the tequila back to the bottle. I have found this gives a great amount of spice and amazing flavor! Add some fresh squeezed limes and some limeade and you've got an amazing easy drink!
While we were in the Atlanta area we spent some time in Alpharetta and tried out Branch & Barrel. I ordered the Pineapple Jalapeno Magarita and it was amazing! On the spicy meter I give this a 7 out of 10. This was just a special magarita and not on their regular menu but it should be a regular!
In Nashville we went to Darfons for dinner which was delicious and had the best kids menu we've ever seen! I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita and it was amazing! This is not spicy but the flavor was great.
